Festival Hangover
Dear all, hope you had an exotic Diwali the way we planned 😎!! That said, how it feels coming back to routine, into action after the mast vacations?
Before getting into the ‘emotional’ aspect of this question, let me ask? How many of us were wary of our and our family’s health and safety during this time? Not all and surely not all the time, right? I myself was quite careless, sometimes owing to festive excitement, the rest of the time because of being extremely tired! However, our all-time boon companion was, is, and will be working round the clock ensuring our welfare. Any guesses? Certainly, it is HOCl.
So, let me first talk about this (after all this what I am paid for 😉) before blabbering any further. HOCl works 24×7 inside our body to ensure the surety of our internal strength against external ‘harms.’ In a nutshell, “a powerful oxidizing agent that can kill 99.99 per cent of viruses and other pathogens in just 15 seconds, hypochlorous acid, unlike alcohol-based disinfectants, is non-toxic, all-natural and completely safe for human use.” We, as a product, also endeavor to exploit its uses and provide a safe & economical sanitizing solution for our customers – use it wherever and whenever you should to maintain sanitized hands and happy faces ☺!
Getting back! So, how it feels? Dull? Lazy? Tired? Unenthusiastic? Dreamy? Upset? Charged up? Distracted? Excited? Angry? Happy? Mixed emotions?
Well, honestly, I was excited about coming back to work some 2-3 days back, however, a couple of unexpected shocking (I know it was unexpected, hence shocking 😛) revelations changed the entire inclination! Writing this blog is helping me come back out of my dullness – hope reading it could do the same for you💃😀.
While getting back into action, ease yourself into the same. Give your mind and body time to adjust to the routine and slowly recall where and how things were before you left off. Amidst all this, talk to people around – share your experiences and learn theirs. Our mind happily starts letting go of things and accepting the change once our mouth starts speaking about it. Else, everything jams inside, restricting new thoughts to flow, at least for some time, I guess 😳.
Ok next, start picking up work – the best is to start with the pending ones and small tasks. This will help with more ticks ✅ instilling a sense of confidence – Yes, I am back, and I can do it!! Take a few more breaks today (only for today, please – not every day – I want this blog to be a “boss-friendly” blog as well 🤫). Jumping altogether in a hell load of work may leave you confused – won’t even do justice to your work efficiency. The key is to remember that our festival vacations came to destress us – it makes no sense to take on added stress when we have an option to smoothly execute our day!
If you’ve already taken sick leave today 😂, don’t worry; these steps might help tomorrow – no leaves will continue forever, returning to work is inevitable 😥.
Please do share your unique experiences as well with us.
