Together We Can Defeat COVID-19

Sanitization has a central role to play in the current Covid-19 scenario. While it is true that using soap water on hands and surfaces can dissipate bacteria and viruses, sanitizing air is a different ball game and needs a different approach/mix, which only a disinfectant can offer. Back in 2020, Russia, Indonesia, Dubai, Qatar, Vietnam, Turkey, Lebanon, Malaysia were driving cannon-mounted trucks to disinfect their roads, highways, busy streets, places of interest, etc. Heck! Where do we lack?

Now, we are not blaming anyone, as we know that it is easier said than done. It has been our endeavor at Sterloc to cover as much ground as possible. But we have limitations too – not just logistical or financial but will of the people and the administration. Solution

As a process, the government and corporate giants need to spread awareness and then scale up such operations to meet the availability for continuous disinfection of roads, office spaces, shops, hospitals, and the air in general. Additionally, we need to ensure that it is Eco-friendly and doesn’t contain toxins, dyes, allergens, preservatives, ammonia, or any harmful chemicals.

From a logical perspective, they can probably distribute the areas within a city into a high-risk zone and run it across digital placards and non-interactive boards at various locations and then disinfect those zones with a Hospital-grade disinfectant regularly. They could also highlight the availability of Professional Disinfection services for people on the lookout or those who have recently recovered/passed away.

Way Forward

Covid-19 is evolving and soon we may have an airborne variant in India or a Third Wave, if not that? The idea is not to spread panic but as a concerned custodians, we want to see response and action that leads to this preventive measure on a massive scale
